Sliema and Mosta joined Floriana and Naxxar Lions in the Fuel 10K Under 16 Futsal KO semi-finals as they recorded big wins in their respective matches.
San Ġwann secured the biggest win of the day after a 9-0 scoreline against Sliema Wanderers.
Noah Cassar and Benjamin Borg Cardona were the authors of a hat-trick each while Leeon Attard added two more for his team. Jacques Pace committed an own goal for a final score of 9-0.
Referees were Sara Kankaras and Stefania Bonnici.
Section A champions Mosta defeated Section B champions Żabbar St Patrick 7-1.
Mostin established an advantage in the first half, with Żabbar reducing the score margin although in the second half it was all the Blues who took control of the game.
Luca Chetcuti scored three goals, Dayle Cachia was the author of a brace while Daniel Sciberras Belfiore and Gabriel Portelli also registered their names among the scorers.
Dejan Sant scored the only goal for Żabbar.
Referees were Stefania Bonnici and Sara Kankaras.
Meanwhile, the semi-finals of this competition will be played today as Floriana play against Mosta at 4.45pm while at 6pm Naxxar Lions face San Ġwann with the matches to be held at the National School of Sport Pavilion.
