Meanwhile, Nadur Youngsters FC missed an opportunity to close the gap on league champions Qala Saints FC as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Xaghra United FC. Despite conceding to a Johan Alberto Castano penalty in the first half, Nadur responded just before halftime through Matthias Mercieca to salvage a point.
With these results, Qala Saints FC remain at the top of the standings and have already been crowned champions, while the battle for the remaining league positions continues.
