Sainz narrowly avoided tragedy

Spaniard Carlos Sainz, Ferrari driver, managed to get out of his burning car at the last moment during the race for the Austrian Grand Prix.

Let’s remember, the victory was won by his teammate Charles Leclerc.

Namely, everything happened on the 58th lap, when the Ferrari car flew off the track and caught fire, and Sainz barely managed to get out of the car that was left on fire.

It was an engine failure, and he also had problems stopping the car, which started to roll backward in an uncontrolled manner, however, luckily, he managed to get out of the car unharmed.

Second place went to Max Verstappen from Red Bull, while Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton took third place.
