Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc pointed out that his team has a lot of problems with the new car in this year’s edition of Formula 1.
Leclerc has won only 34 points this season, while his teammate Carlos Sainz has 44.
“We have a car that is incredibly difficult to push to the limit. We are still far from that. I am trying to find an answer to the question why we are so good in qualifying and struggle in the races. We have a lot of work ahead of us. I simply have no confidence in this car, as I don’t know how it will react from corner to corner. The car is also sensitive to the wind,” said Leclerc.
Ferrari is currently fourth in the constructors’ standings with 78 points.
The next race in the F1 championship will be held on May 21 for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at the Imola circuit.
