Birkirkara FC’s versatile 26-year-old midfielder, Yannick Yankam, is set to embark on a new chapter in his career as he joins Lexington SC in the United States.
Yankam’s outstanding performances have not only contributed to Birkirkara’s success, securing second place in the Premier League and winning the FA Trophy but have also earned him recognition with the national team during the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Sources close to the player revealed that Yankam’s impressive displays, including a goal in his debut against North Macedonia, attracted interest from Lexington SC.
Despite signing a new three-year deal with Birkirkara FC last summer, Yankam is ready for the challenge abroad.
