The US Women’s National Team (USWNT) ends 2024 at the top of the FIFA Coca-Cola Women’s World Rankings. While the USA remains in first place, Spain has moved up to second, closely trailing the leaders, and Germany has returned to the top three, pushing England down to fourth. Sweden and Canada maintain strong positions in fifth and sixth, respectively.
In the top 10, Brazil has climbed to seventh, while Japan has dropped to eighth. Korea DPR is ranked ninth, and the Netherlands has re-entered the top 10, pushing France out for the first time in history.
Poland has seen the most significant rise in the rankings, moving up four places to 28th, while Belarus has also made notable progress. Other teams on the rise include Indonesia, Estonia, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia, which have all made impressive gains. Saudi Arabia is particularly pleased with their highest-ever ranking.
The next FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be released on March 6, 2025.
