German striker Timo Werner is poised to make a comeback in the Premier League, with reports indicating that he will soon don the Tottenham jersey.
This marks Timo’s return to the English top-flight after a stint with Chelsea from 2020 to 2022. During his time with Chelsea, the German international featured in 89 matches, finding the net 23 times.
Werner’s move to Tottenham is seen as a valuable addition, especially considering that Spurs will be without Son Heung-min for approximately 20 days in April due to his participation in the Asian Cup with South Korea. Werner’s experience and goal-scoring prowess could prove to be instrumental for Tottenham during this period.
In the current season, Timo has scored two goals in eight appearances, and his return to the Premier League is anticipated with keen interest.
