Ten Hag is making a "purge" at Manchester United

Ever since Eric Ten Hag took over the helm of Manchester United this summer, it is noticeable that he is not satisfied with the players at his disposal, especially those who have been at “Old Trafford” for a long time.

The Dutch expert got his way even in the case of the biggest star and legend of the club, Cristiano Ronaldo, and it is not surprising that some other players with a lesser reputation are close to leaving.

According to the British “Mirror”, Ten Hag decided to “thank Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Alex Telles and Eric Bailly for their cooperation” at the end of the season.

“Ten Hag has already started planning a big purge at the end of the season. There are five footballers on the list, including Maguire, who is the captain of the club. Some of them became redundant after the arrival of Wut Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer, and some footballers simply did not manage to impose themselves on Ten Hag and his project”, reports the aforementioned newspaper.

The Dutch manager managed to return Manchester United to the top of English football, they are currently in third place in the Premier League table, and they will have the opportunity to win the trophy in the League Cup considering that they have reached the final, where Newcastle awaits them.
