Inter players drew with Fiorentina (1:1) at home in the 30th round of Serie A. The coach of the team from the “city of fashion” Simone Inzaghi was very disappointed and angry after the new failure of his team.
Inzaghi says that he is not happy because of the situation in which the “Nerazzurri” are and that they are to blame because they made people expect more from them.
– We didn’t do a good job in the first half, and a team like ours had to play better. After the break at halftime, we started to play as we wanted and we immediately created more chances, and in the end, we were able to score more goals. Now we are not in the best situation because we won seven points from seven matches – said Inzaghi and added:
– I am not happy because we made people expect more from us, we had a few perfect months, and then came the crisis. Still, the boys should work in peace.
He says that the biggest problem of his team is poor realization.
– We create a lot of chances, we just can’t turn them into a goal. It is too easy to blame the absence of certain players, and the fact that we played better than our opponents in the second half shows that this is not the case – Inzaghi added.
Inter currently has 60 points, three less than Napoli who are second and six less than Milan. In the next round, they will have a difficult visit to Turin, where they will fight Juventus, which is in a good series in the league.
