VLAHOVIC WANTS CONTINUITY: Thanks to Di Maria, strikers live for goals

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic was the most responsible for the triumph of Juventus against Salernitana with a score of 3:0, where the former Partizan player was the double scorer.

The Serbian national team scored at the “Arechi” stadium in Salerno in the 26th minute from the penalty spot and in the 47th minute after an assist from Fagioli.

“First of all, the most important thing is that we won. We had not achieved a triumph in three matches before that, so the victory is crucial. I want to thank my teammates and coach and say that we have to continue like this,” said Dusan Vlahovic after the victory.

Before Vlahovic’s first goal, there was a discussion about who would take the penalty, and the experienced Argentine Angel Di Marija gave the opportunity to the “nine” of Juventus.

“It is important for a striker to score a goal. Strikers live for goals. I want to thank Di Maria for giving me the penalty, that really helped me. This is my first goal after 115 days for Juventus, I need more games to pick up the pace. I hope that I will soon be at 100 percent readiness,” said the center forward of the Serbian national team.

The Serbian striker has scored eight goals for the “old lady” in the current part of Serie A.
