Atalanta have confirmed Raffaele Palladino as their new head coach following a meeting at the Bortolotti Sports Centre in Zingonia with club president Antonio Percassi, chief executive Luca Percassi and sporting director Tony D’Amico.
The club announced that Palladino, 41, has signed a contract until 30 June 2027. After beginning his coaching career with Monza’s Under 15 and Primavera sides, he has taken charge of 126 professional matches, including 73 with Monza and 53 with Fiorentina. Last season, he led Fiorentina to sixth place in Serie A with 65 points and reached the semi-final of the UEFA Conference League 2024 to 2025.

Palladino will be joined by Stefano Citterio as assistant and Federico Peluso as technical collaborator. The backroom team also includes fitness coach Fabio Corabi, assistant fitness coach Nicola Riva, and match analysts Andrea Ramponi and Mattia Casella. He will also work with existing staff members, Cristian Raimondi, goalkeeping coach Marco Savorani, with assistants Sabino Oliva, performance specialist Marcello Iaia, match analyst Stefano Brambilla and assistant fitness coach Andrea Vigni.
Atalanta confirmed the appointment in an official statement published shortly before 15:00 local time. Atalanta have sacked their former coach Ivan Juric after only 11 rounds at their helm in Serie A. He was appointed only last July after Gasperini left the Lombardy side to join A.S. Roma.
