Unlike other countries in Italy, at no point since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, the stadiums were allowed to be full.
The maximum occupancy rate was 75 percent, and only vaccinated people, those who had recently contracted the virus or people with a negative PCR test were allowed to enter within 48 hours before the start of the match.
At the start of this year, capacity was reduced to 50 percent, to be followed by a new reduction.
The novelty is that the negative test is no longer recognized and only vaccinated people can attend the matches.
