Sadio Mane has won the race with Mohamed Salah to be named the best African footballer for 2022.
This is the second time in his career that Mane has won this trophy, and in the year after us with Senegal, he won the African championship title, the first in history for that country, and it was Mane who scored the last penalty in the final against Egypt.
The second place in the selection went to Mohamed Salah, and the third to Eduardo Mendy.
Mane, otherwise the new reinforcement of Bayern Munich, received this recognition three years ago.
