Former Liverpool footballer Sadio Mane was welcomed in Bayern in an unusual way. In his honor, the Bavarians adapted the “Alliance Arena”.
Bayern painted their stadium red, and his name was written in big white letters, as a sign of welcome to the new star of his club.
Mane previously spent six years in Liverpool, with whom he won the Premier League and the Champions League. The team from Munich had to pay 32,000,000 euros to Liverpool in the name of compensation for the Senegalese football player.
Bayern general manager Oliver Kahn spoke about the Senegalese footballer and pointed out that he is a great reinforcement.
– We are delighted with the arrival of Mane. We are sure that Mane will make Bayern fans happy in the coming years, because he is ambitious and wants titles. With players like him, all of Bayern’s goals are realistic – said Kahn.
