English media report that Wayne Rooney could replace Rafa Benitez on the Everton bench.
Everton are currently in desperate form. They have only one victory and six defeats in the last nine games, which is why the club’s leaders have started thinking about a new coach.
This would not have been so strange if Rooney himself had not stated in the past that he had a bad relationship with Moshiri.
Everton’s first man thought that he should leave Goodison Park, even though the striker wanted to stay, which is why they were in conflict.
Apparently, something has changed in the meantime.
Rooney left “Goodison” as a teenager, and then returned home as the best scorer in the history of the great Manchester United.
After 13 seasons, he put on the Everton jersey again, a club in which he passed all the junior categories and played in the senior competition for two years.
And then he came among the “caramels” without compensation.
He left Everton after a year. He was supposed to be the leader and captain of the team, but the club was not satisfied with his release, so there was a parting.
