One of the best footballers in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, confirmed in an interview that he no longer intends to return and play for any club in Europe.
He moved from Manchester United to Saudi Al Nasr last season, and now he says he will finish his career there.
“I will certainly never return to Europe. That door is closed. I am 38 years old, and European football has also lost its quality. Only the Premier League is of high quality, far ahead of all others,” said Ronaldo after his team lost a friendly match against Celta with a score of 5:0.
The Portuguese also pointed out that by going to Saudi Arabia, he opened the door for many players to come to one of their clubs for large sums of money.
“Everyone now wants to play here. And that the Saudi league is better than the American MLS league,” added Ronaldo.
