Real Madrid, Europe’s most trophy-winning football club, has decided to donate one million euros in humanitarian aid to the displaced Ukrainian population.
So far, it has been announced that over 2.5 million people have left Ukraine.
Real has launched the “Everyone for Ukraine” campaign and it will remain open in the coming period for donations to Ukrainians who had to leave their homes, but also for others who have refugee status in Spain.
According to the UNHCR, 2.8 million left Ukraine, and many more were displaced within the borders of the war-torn country.
