Xavi Simons, a former Paris Saint-Germain footballer, has joined PSV.
The young midfielder signed a contract until 2027.
“After three wonderful years at the club, it’s time to say goodbye. I am very grateful to the coaches, the professional staff, my teammates, and the entire staff. “PSG will always be in my heart,” wrote Simons on social networks.
PSV sports director John de Jong is pleased with the new reinforcements.
“We watched almost every match this season in which he played. In addition to all the matches he played with the Dutch national team, we saw him live in the Youth Champions League in Leipzig, Paris, Bruges, Manchester, and against Sevilla. He convinced us. “Xavi has everything to become an important player for PSV and he wants to be with us for a long time,” he said.
Simons is 19 years old, and at Paris Saint-Germain he was mostly a member of the youth team. He used to be in the Barcelona youth school.
