According to the Italian media, Spezia has found a replacement for Thiago Motta. It is the former Juventus coach, Anrea Pirlo.
He recently connected with Salernitan, but as that club is in a convulsive fight for survival, Spezia stood out as the main candidate to bring him.
Pirlo’s last engagement was at Juventus, and since then he has been associated with a large number of clubs.
As a coach with Juventus, Pirlo won the Italian Cup and the Super Cup of that country. The 42-year-old was appointed Juventus coach in the summer of 2020 and was sacked nine months later. He spent 52 matches on the bench.
In his debut coaching season, he won the Champions League with a lot of trouble, and instead of Andrea, he returned to Max Allegri, who is still the coach of the Old Lady.
