The Football Association of England, FA, fined Chelsea and Tottenham managers Tomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte for the conflict that happened the previous weekend in the Premier League derby.
Namely, the German coach Tomas Tuchel was fined 35,000 pounds as well as a one-game suspension, while the Italian coach Conte was fined 15,000 pounds, but he managed to avoid suspension due to misconduct in the draw at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel’s ban is temporary, pending full written reasons for allowing the Chelsea coach to lead the team in Sunday’s match against Leeds.
In addition, the German could be punished for commenting on the refereeing after the match, where he stated that “it might be better” if the referee Anthony Taylor did not referee the Chelsea matches.
