Lazio vs. Roma, Sunday at 6 p.m. – the pre-game started last weekend, continued into the middle of the week.
It all started after the match between Roma and Lecce, when Roma coach Jose Mourinho got “caught”.
“Lazio plays on Tuesday, we play on Thursday – so they will have more time to rest and prepare for the derby,” said the Portuguese.
His colleague Maurizio Sarri responded after the victory over Feyenoord (1:0) in the 4th round of the Champions League.
“We have passed the football war, and Roma have a friendly match against Slavia in Prague,” Sari said.
If anyone thought that Mourinho would keep it quiet, they were wrong.
“I saw what he said to Sarah. If anyone should be offended after that statement, it is the people from Slavia. I am someone who always respects the opponent. Maybe that’s the difference between a coach who won 26 titles and one who barely won anything. The difference is in the mentality”, said the Portuguese and added:
“Each match must be taken seriously, there are no friendlies. I would like to hear Serie A’s reaction, as it was an objective and direct criticism. I will wait”.
