The Meridianbet FA Trophy is set to commence another thrilling season next month.
On Tuesday, the draw for the Preliminary Round of the Meridianbet FA Trophy was conducted, with teams competing for a spot in the Round of 32.
The four Semi-Finalists from the BOV Amateur Cup will earn their place in the Preliminary Round of the Meridianbet FA Trophy. The Quarter-Finals draw for the BOV Amateur Cup also occurred on Tuesday and can be accessed here.

The Preliminary Round matches of the Meridianbet FA Trophy are scheduled for 7th and 8th December 2024.
As announced earlier this year, Malta’s renowned FA Trophy, a cornerstone of its football scene, has gained official sponsorship from Meridianbet Group. Among the standout matches in the Preliminary Round is the encounter between Sirens FC and Santa Lucia FC, both demoted from the top division last season. Additionally, Mġarr United FC is set to face S.K. Victoria Wanderers. Notably, the Gozitan side remains the only team from Malta’s sister island to have reached the FA Trophy Semi-Finals.
One notable match-up is between the recently demoted Valletta FC and the champions of the Gozitan First Division, Nadur Youngsters FC.

Furthermore, 13 teams advanced directly to the Round of 32, having received byes. These teams include Żurrieq FC, Gudja United, Fgura United, Lija Athletic FC, Għajnsielem FC, Qala Saints FC, Marsa FC, Pieta’ Hotspurs FC, Xewkija Tigers FC, Xagħra United, St Andrews FC, along with the victors of games two and three from the BOV Amateur Cup.
