The Preliminary Round matches of the Meridianbet FA Trophy are scheduled for 7th and 8th December 2024.

As announced earlier this year, Malta’s renowned FA Trophy, a cornerstone of its football scene, has gained official sponsorship from Meridianbet Group. Among the standout matches in the Preliminary Round is the encounter between Sirens FC and Santa Lucia FC, both demoted from the top division last season. Additionally, Mġarr United FC is set to face S.K. Victoria Wanderers. Notably, the Gozitan side remains the only team from Malta’s sister island to have reached the FA Trophy Semi-Finals.

One notable match-up is between the recently demoted Valletta FC and the champions of the Gozitan First Division, Nadur Youngsters FC.
