IT'S NOT MESSI IT'S NOT RONALDO: Mbappe is the highest paid footballer in the world!

It seems that the era of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is over. There are some new names on the scene like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

Accordingly, the new generations are better and paid, but no one like Kylian Mbappe who, according to the latest Forbes list, is the highest paid footballer in the world!

The respected newspaper took into account salary with bonuses, plus off-field earnings through sponsorship deals, licensing and memorabilia, as well as businesses run by the players themselves.

According to this principle, Kylian Mbappe is definitely the first since he earns a dizzying 131,000,000 euros per year! And at only 23 years old…

For the sake of comparison, Ronaldo and Messi broke the magic figure of 100,000,000 euros only when they turned 30, which makes Mbappe’s feat even greater.

Next is Lionel Messi with an annual income of 113,000,000 euros, and right after him is his biggest rival Cristiano Ronaldo with 103,000,000 euros.

The three mentioned are the only ones who earn a sum of nine figures per year. Next on the list is Neymar (89,000,000 euros), then Mohamed Salah (55,000,000 euros), Erling Haaland (40,000,000), Robert Lewandowski (36,000,000) and Eden Hazard (32,000,000).

It is interesting that Andreas Iniesta is ninth on the prestigious list with an annual salary of 31,000,000 euros, and the TOP 10 is rounded off by one of today’s best footballers, Kevin de Bruyne.
