With pre-season preparations well underway, Valletta FC are set to travel to Sicily for a high-profile friendly against Serie C Italian team Catania at the Stadio Angelo Massimino on Sunday, 10 August at 9:00 pm.
The Maltese Premier League side will arrive in Sicily fresh from their official squad launch on 5 August, where the club unveiled both their new kits for the upcoming season and the full first-team roster.

The event marked an important moment for supporters, offering a first glimpse of the squad that will carry Valletta’s hopes to reach higher targets this season. Catania, known as the “rossazzurri”, will use the match as part of their own pre-season build-up.

For Valletta, the fixture represents both a valuable test against strong opposition and an opportunity to showcase their new-look side in front of an international audience ahead of the 2025–26 campaign.
