Valletta booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Mġarr United. The Citizens were in control throughout, scoring twice in each half.
Yuri De Jesus Messias opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, before Andrea Zammit doubled the lead shortly before half-time.
After the break, Thaylor Aldama made it 3-0 on 55 minutes, and Jefferson De Assis sealed the win with a fourth goal fifteen minutes from time.
In the quarter-final, Valletta will now meet the winner of the Floriana vs Ħamrun match, which is set to be played on Sunday.
