Bayern Munich football club will ask for at least 60 million euros for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, German media reported.
Barcelona offered 40 million euros for Lewandowski at the beginning of the week, but the management of the German champion stated that the striker is not for sale, although his contract expires next summer.
Lewandowski informed Bayern last month that he did not want to extend his contract, as he wants a new challenge.
Sky Germany reported that the 33-year-old Polish national team player would like to move to Barcelona this summer, before waiting for next year when he will become a free agent.
Lewandowski has been at Bayern since 2014, for which he scored 344 goals in 375 games in all competitions.
He has won eight titles in the last eight seasons in the Bundesliga, three Cups and is the league’s top scorer for the fifth season in a row.
