Real Madrid footballer Toni Kroos said today that he will end his career at that club, but he did not specify when it will happen.
- What I have always said has not changed – that I will not go anywhere, that I will not change clubs. I will stay here, I will finish my career here. I just don’t know when it will happen – Kroos said at the press conference in Madrid.
Kroos has a contract with Real until June 30, 2023. He retired from the German national team last July.
- I am calm. I will think about it next year or during the upcoming World Cup break. I will think about what can happen and I will slowly start making a decision – said Kroos.
- It’s funny, many people think they know what will happen, while I don’t know what I’m thinking. But the club and I are very calm, we always talk. I have been here for almost eight and a half years and our relationship is not going to change now. We will talk about it quietly in January or February, maybe even in March – added the 32-year-old German footballer.
On Wednesday, from 18:45, Real will play at home against Celtic, the game of the last sixth round in the Champions League.
