Klopp replied to Guardiola: He obviously had a hard time with the relegation from the Champions League

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp commented on the statement of Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, that everyone is cheering for the club from Anfield.
After a convincing triumph over Newcastle (5:0) in the previous round of the Premier League, Guardiola said that everyone in England is cheering for Liverpool, including the media.

“Everyone is cheering for Liverpool, including the media, because it has an incredible history in Europe, but not in the Premier League, which they won once in 30 years. I do not care. The people want them to win the title more than we do,” said the City coach.

Klopp responded to this statement with his characteristic laugh.

“I have no idea if the whole country is cheering for us. It seems to me that this is not the case, but maybe he knows more than me. Obviously, he had a hard time withstanding the relegation from the Champions League,” said Klopp.

City is currently first on the table with three points more than Liverpool, and there are three rounds left until the end of the championship.

Liverpool will play in the Champions League final against Real Madrid since Pep Guardiola’s team was eliminated in the semifinals.
