KLOPP ON THE DEFEAT AGAINST BRIGHTON: I don't remember a worse game

The Liverpool players suffered a heavy defeat away to Brighton (3:0), and Reds coach Jurgen Klopp said after the match that he thought this was perhaps the worst game he attended as coach of the club from Anfield.

“I don’t remember a worse match in my term in Liverpool. There may have been one similar, but this was a disaster. It will not be difficult for us to play better than this,” Klopp said.

Liverpool is currently only ninth in the table with only 28 points after 20 rounds of the Premier League.

“We need to take big steps. From today’s game we should know that we are at zero and we have to solve everything that is bothering us”, said Klop.

In the next round, the Reds welcome the Chelsea team on Saturday, January 21.
