KLOPP DOESN'T GIVE UP: He intends to bring in Calvin Phillips again

Manchester City’s midfielder, Calvin Phillips, is in Pep Guardiola’s second plan, but Jurgen Klopp’s first plan.

In June, Calvin Phillips said he wanted to stay and fight for a place at Manchester City this season, amid renewed interest in his services from Liverpool.

Phillips only joined Premier League champions Leeds last summer but struggled for regular minutes during his first campaign at the Etihad.

Liverpool had given up on him at one point, but they again started their interest in him, before the end of the transfer window.

Klopp had him in his plans last season before Phillips arrived at City.
If Calvin Phillips sticks to his stance that he wants to win trophies with City, Klopp will have to look for a new solution.
