Roma celebrated on Sunday against Genoa away with 2: 0, and both goals were scored by Felix Afena-Gyan, who entered the game in the 74th minute.
The head of the professional staff of the team from Rome, Jose Mourinho, decided to honor the young striker from Ghana, as a reward for the victory. After the game, he revealed what he promised Felix if he scored a goal.
– I promised Felix that I would buy him shoes that he likes a lot, and they are very expensive and cost over 300 euros. When he scored a goal, he ran up to me and told me not to forget that promise – said Jose Mourinho and added:
“That will be the first thing I do as soon as I get up,” the Portuguese concluded.
For young striker Felix Afena-Gyan, these were the first goals for the Roma senior team.
