The MFA issued a statement saying that interim Malta coach Davide Mazzotta has called up Floriana FC midfielder Matias Garcia to the national squad as a replacement for Marsaxlokk’s Ryan Scicluna who has had to pull out for technical reasons.
The addition of Garcia, who had also been included in the initial squad for last month’s international window, comes ahead of two important fixtures: an international friendly against Liechtenstein this Thursday and a crucial UEFA Nations League (UNL) match against Andorra on Tuesday, 19 November. Both matches will be played at the National Stadium.
