Real Madrid’s elimination from the Champions League and the resulting rumors of a split between Carlo Ancelotti and the Blancos — possibly even as soon as tonight in the event of a defeat in the Copa del Rey final have reignited Brazil’s hopes of having the Italian coach as their national team manager.
According to ESPN Brazil, three representatives from the Brazilian Football Federation are currently in Spain and have resumed contact with both Davide Ancelotti, the coach’s son and assistant, and the entourage of the top candidate to fill the vacant managerial position.
