INTER IN THE SCUDETTO RACE: Barella and Dzeko "crossed out" Verona, AC Milan just a point ahead!

The Inter players beat Verona 2-0 at home, in the game of the 32nd round of the Italian championship, and now they are a point behind the first-placed Milan.

Inter took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal scored by Nicolo Barella, and the final score was set by Edin Dzeko in the 30th minute. Ivan Perisic was the assistant for both goals.

The Serie A champion now has 19 victories and is second on the table with 66 points, the same as third-placed Napoli. First-placed Milan has one point more.

Verona suffered its 11th defeat and is in ninth place with 45 points.

Earlier today, Empoli and Spezia played a draw 0: 0, and later Cagliari – Juventus.
