INTER DOES NOT GIVE UP: Nerazzurri continues the scudetto race with the city's rival

Inter players defeated Udinese 2: 1 (2: 0) in the 35th round of Serie A. Most of the work on the way to the 22nd victory of the season, coach Simone Inzaghi’s team did in the first half, when they scored two goals.

Just a few hours after Milan’s victory over Fiorentina, the “Nerazzurri” celebrated in a match that was to be or not to be for the champion’s ambitions.

Inter took the lead in the 12th minute after a corner when Ivan Perisic was the highest in the jump.

After watching the VAR video in the 37th minute, the referee awarded a penalty to Inter, but Lautaro Martinez hit the post from the penalty spot.

Fortunately for him, he reacted well to the rejected ball and increased the advantage to 2: 0

Udinese brought uncertainty into the match in the 72nd minute, when Ignacio Pussetto reacted best to the blocked ball and scored.

There was no chance until the end, except that Artur Vidal’s goal was annulled in the 79th minute due to offside, so it remained 2: 1.

There are three more games left until the end of the Italian Serie A, and Inter is currently two points behind the leading Milan.
