The Manchester United players will start preparations for the new season on Monday, and although the leaders have not yet brought in any new players, Erik Ten Hag, the Dutch coach has made the first big change since coming to the club.
Ten Hag has arrived in Manchester and expects the return of the first team players to the training process. Among the first to return are players who had no obligations to national teams at the end of the season, and then everyone else until the end of the week.
Upon arrival at the Carrington training center, the first change awaits them. Namely, Ten Hag instructed the staff in charge of maintaining the terrain to reduce the grass on all terrains of the center to exactly 15 millimeters.
The Dutch expert believes that this change is necessary for the players to be able to improve the passes, as well as the speed of the game itself, in accordance with the requirements they will put in front of them.
He announced even earlier that he would initially focus much more on tactical ideas and exercises with the ball.
His commitment to raising the stumbled giant is really not in question, and no one doubts the ability of the former Ajax coach, but the fans still have reason to worry.
The leaders of United have not yet provided any reinforcements for the next season, and it seems that with the current lineup, despite their efforts, they will hardly be able to interfere in the fight for the title.
