GUDELJ: We want to play dominantly

Nemanja Gudelj, a player from Sevilla and a member of the Serbian national team, shared his impressions of the semi-final duel of the Europa League against Juventus.

The Andalusian defender started the match from the start, while Dusan Vlahovic and Filip Kostic got a chance from the bench on the other side.

“Yes, I know Dusan Vlahovic and Filip Kostic well, but that did not make my job against them any easier. They are top players. They don’t play for nothing in a team like Juventus. We didn’t talk after the second leg. They were sad and went to the dressing room. We stayed to celebrate with the fans. After the match we spoke on the phone and had a short chat. I wished them luck, they congratulated me and Marko (Dmitrović, goalkeeper of Sevilla, ed. author). They wished us to win the Europa League. I also wish them the best”, said Gudelj for “Novosti”.

“We will prepare for the final as for any other match. Sevilla wants to win every match. This one will bring more emotion than any other in the league. It is not the first final we are playing, we have experience in finals. We have a lot of players who played in the finals. They recorded good results with national teams. When the time comes, we will analyze Roma. We want to play dominantly, effectively and try to do everything in our power to celebrate in the end”, concluded Gudelj.
