Cordoba football player, Dragiša Gudelj, was successfully operated on and a defibrillator was installed.
This news was confirmed by the coach of the club, Hernan Crespo, who said that the whole club had a very difficult week because of everything that happened with the Serbian footballer.
“We have a complicated week behind us because of everything that happened with a player we all love very much and who won the dressing room. We didn’t expect something like that to happen, the days were hard, the pictures passed and the nights were complicated. It was hard to get to sleep.”
Herman Crespo was one of the first to go to the hospital where he visited Gudelj , and he says that the moment he hugged him, he was quite relieved.
“There was a lull, silence, uncertainty lasted among the players, before the positive news came. The locker room is eager to get the win and dedicate it to him. Now we have an even greater desire, Dragiša deserves it.”
