Former Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso has officially signed a contract with Spanish Valencia until 2024, which means he will coach the team from Mestalla for the next two years.
Along with him, the professional staff will consist of Gigi Riccio, Valerio Fiori, Bruno Dominici, Dino Tenderini, Francesco Sarlo, and Marco Sangermani.
The Bats finished in ninth place in the LaLiga last season, with 11 points less than Villarreal, which finished in seventh position, leading to Europe.
In his coaching career so far, Gattuso has been on the bench of Sion, Palermo, Crete, Pisa, and Milan, in addition to Napoli.
His greatest success was winning the Italian Cup with Napoli in 2020.
