The former Manchester United goalkeeper ended up in the 5th division from Wales

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster returned to football and signed a contract with Wrexham, the Welsh club announced today.

Foster, a former England international, has signed a contract with the Welsh club until the end of the season.

In 2005, he was on loan at Wrexham, which now plays in the fifth English league.

The goalkeeper, who will turn 40 on April 3, ended his career last September, and his last job was in Watford.

Wrexham gained global popularity when it was taken over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
