Fenerbahce, after a string of 18 victories in all competitions since the start of the season, faced a mini-crisis with three consecutive games without a win.
However, thanks to the heroics of Dusan Tadic, the team’s fortunes took a turn as they clinched a dramatic comeback victory against Karagümrük, winning 2-1 and preserving their position as league leaders.
The guests initially silenced the home crowd with a goal in the 39th minute from Keles. But in the second half, the Serbian national team captain, Tadic, stepped up to the challenge. He first leveled the score from the penalty spot and then secured the win for Fenerbahce. Tadic found himself in the right place at the right time, receiving a pass from Simanski and confidently sending the ball into the net from close range.
