Arsenal players will try to bring Declan Rice from West Ham in the coming days.
The proposal comes from the club’s management, and it was supported by the coach of the Gunners, Mikel Arteta, according to the British media.
Chelsea is also interested in Rice, but Arsenal is closer to bringing the 23-year-old England international into their ranks.
Declan should soon leave West Ham because he himself admitted that he wants to play in the strongest European club competitions.
West Ham is at the very bottom of the table and is fighting for survival in the Premier League, and that does not suit the young player.
On the other hand, the “Hammers” have a solid contract with the midfielder until 2024 and, as stated, they would not let him go for less than 100 million euros.
It is a sum that their neighbors from the north of London are apparently ready to pay, according to the British media, but it is more likely that Rice will stay at West Ham until the end of the season and only move to another club in the summer.
