Portugal’s first star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has failed once again to help his national team reach a triumph against the Republic of Ireland, but his team achieved its goal.
The national team of Portugal is on the first place of group A with 17 points, as much as the national team of Serbia has, but the Serbian selection has a worse goal difference, so victory is imperative in Lisbon, in order to qualify for the World Cup. On the other hand, Portugal have enough points for a direct placement.
On the occasion of the decisive match, Cristiano Ronaldo announced himself on his Instagram profile, with a message for his teammates and the entire nation, which expects to win the match with Serbia.
