Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel mentioned that he will remain on the bench of the team from London until the end of the season, despite the difficult situation in which the club finds itself.
The political conflicts between Ukraine and Russia have brought Chelsea many negative consequences. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has withdrawn and is looking for a new buyer, while bank accounts have been frozen.
Tuchel has no intention of leaving Chelsea, and the situation in which the Blues find themselves is more than alarming, considering that the functioning of the club is in question.
– There is no doubt that I will stay at Chelsea until the end of the season. We go day after day because the situation can change. The situation is clear – the club is for sale and I hope that everything will go well. I can’t say anything further than that because I have no influence on most things – says Tuchel after the victory over Newcastle in the 29th round of the Premier League.
The German pointed out that he is focusing on the team and the field.
– I’ll take care of things I can influence. The whole focus is on the team and that’s all I’m thinking about. However, I am aware of the whole situation. Chelsea is a huge club, thousands of people are behind us, we must preserve the good spirit – the strategist of the European champions is clear.
