The European Football Union (UEFA) will deprive Russia of the organization of the final match of the Champions League, after the attack of that country on Ukraine.
Uefa convened an extraordinary meeting on Friday, and the Associated Press agency stated today that St. Petersburg will not host the Champions League final on May 28.
According to an unnamed source of the agency, the decision on moving the final match of the most elite European competition will be confirmed at the meeting on Friday.
Russia attacked Ukraine this morning, after which the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, declared a state of war.
