The result crisis that Juventus is in has brought great conflicts in the dressing room, and the captain of the team, Leonardo Bonucci, who has been removed from the team because of his statement, is now under attack.
The fact that Juventus have not won in five consecutive games in Serie A sounds unrealistic, and the last straw was the defeat at Monza this weekend.
In that match, the “Old Lady” was inferior, without an idea, game plan, but also without captain Leonardo Bonucci.
After the game, Massimiliano Allegri’s assistant, Marco Landucci, said that the captain was left out “for technical reasons”, but La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the truth is otherwise.
Allegri reportedly decided to punish Bonucci for a statement he made to the media after the Champions League defeat to Benfica.
– I am worried about the situation we are in, there is no point in denying it. Unfortunately, we tend to lose our game during games. I don’t know why it happens, but the fact is that it worries me the most, more than the bad results – said Bonucci, alluding to the lack of tactics.
We will find out in the weeks ahead whether Juventus will rise, or whether there will be an express split with Allegri.
