The management of the football club Milan will soon meet with colleagues from Sassuolo on the occasion of the arrival of Domenico Berardi on loan at the San Siro, Italian media reported today.
Berardi has scored 14 goals and 10 assists in Serie A this season, and the Milan management wants to hire him from next season. Gazeta delo Sport reported that the representatives of the two clubs will soon organize a meeting to discuss the transfer of the 28-year-old striker, but also his teammate Gianluca Scamacca.
Sassuolo estimated Berardi at 30 million euros, but Milan does not want to pay that much for a player when it could be harder to sell in the future, given his age. That is why Milan wants to bring Berardi on loan, with the possibility or obligation to buy him.
As it is stated, the strategy of “roso-neri” suggests that the negotiations could be as long as last summer, when Sassuolo sent Manuel Locatelli on loan to Juventus, with the obligation to buy him in black and white.
Milan is also interested in Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere from Bruges and Marco Asensio from Real Madrid.
