Barcelona decided to go out on the field in their derby with Real Madrid on Sunday in their “yellow-red” set of jerseys in order to further “fix the atmosphere”.
The colors that are the symbol of Catalonia and the struggle for independence will surely be a “finger in the eye” for Real Madrid fans.
Barcelona made this decision on the directive of the club’s first man, Joan Laporta, reports journalist Gerard Romero.
This is not the first time that Barça has played “El Clásico” in these colors; it did the same last year, when special jerseys were made for the derby with Real.
The match will be played on Sunday at 9 pm, and Real has an unattainable 15 points more.
