Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri rejected the offer of Saudi Al Hilal because he plans to continue his career in Italy, reports Fabrizio Romano.
He received an offer from Arabia of 20 million euros net salary per season, until 2025, but the Italian is not thinking of leaving the “old lady”.
The trophy-winning coach is focused on working with the team from Turin, with whom he has a contract. The Saudis will now start implementing ‘plan B’ and will try to bring in the recent coach of Brazil, Tite.
If Allegri had by any chance accepted the rich offer, he would have become the second highest paid coach in the world, right behind Diego Simeone, who is the first on the list with 29 million per season, which is what he earns in Atlético de Madrid.
Juventus allocates 12.8 million euros per season for his services, and is in fifth place on the list of the highest paid coaches.
