A new problem for Lampard: Paterson has to take a longer break

There is no end to Frank Lampard’s problems at the Everton club, Nathan Patterson has joined the list of injured players.

The young defender injured his wrist while playing for Scotland in the Nations League match against Ukraine last Wednesday.

“After consultation with the medical team, Paterson will continue therapy at the club. It is expected that he will return to the field in four to five Sundays,” reads Everton’s press release.

Frank Lampard thus got a new problem, given that the 20-year-old defender was standard and played all eight matches since the start of the Premier League.

He now joins injured players including: Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend, Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate, Jordan Pickford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
